Kids' Sunday Summary

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP

This school year children (4 years to Grade 2) are learning about how we worship God on Sundays and every day with a three-week lesson unit on each part of our worship service. On the last Sunday of the unit, students will complete an art project expressing that element of worship.

Adoration Unit (on Nov. 5, 12 & 19)

Lesson: Respecting Human Life

Bible Truth: God created people in his own image and therefore says that human life is sacred and must be protected. (Gen. 1, 4, 9; Num. 35; Exod. 22; Matt. 5; Eph. 4)

Lesson Focus: To understand that the sixth commandment forbids murder or hate; to understand that we are to love, respect and protect other people because we are all made in God’s image.
