Kids' Sunday Summary

10:30AM CHILDREN’S WORSHIP

This school year children (4 years to Grade 2) are learning about how we worship God on Sundays and every day with a three-week lesson unit on each part of our worship service. On the last Sunday of the unit, students will complete an art project expressing that element of worship.

Thanksgiving Unit (on Jan 7, 14 & 21)

We say to God: “Thank you” (part of the Story of Worship)

Grades K & 1

Lesson: Jesus Keeps Everyone Safe
Bible Passage: Acts 27
Lesson Focus: Paul trusted Jesus to care for him and everyone on the ship through the storm.

Grades 2-5

Lesson: Learning to Be Content
Bible Truth: God requires us to be content with what he gives us and not to envy others for what he gives them. (1 Kings 21; 1 Tim. 6; Luke 12; Phil. 4)
Lesson Focus: To learn that, as children of God, we are to be satisfied with what we have and thank God for what he gives us and others; to ask the Lord Jesus to help us learn to be content as we grow in trusting and obeying him.
