Following the lead of the Bible and the tradition of the church, our worship is centered on Word and sacrament. The sermon and the Lord’s Supper are central to what we do on Sunday, and we also include elements of singing, confessing, giving and praying when we get together. While we connect ourselves with the ancient history of the church in our worship, we also desire that it be very much in our own language.
What to Expect
Our service begins at 10:00 am and concludes at approximately 11:30 am.
Greeters will welcome you at the door and offer you a bulletin, which contains the order for the service. They may also answer any questions you have about the church. We’re not formal in our dress or demeanor and hope all feel welcome as they gather with us.
After the service, we invite you to introduce yourself to one of our pastors or join us in the Social Hall to enjoy some snacks and to get to know us better.
Children are a valuable part of our community and as such are welcome in our entire service. We believe it is important for children to worship alongside their families, and we don't expect children to be perfectly quiet or still. Also, we offer a few options for children during the service that you may take advantage of at any time.
